ULTITEC 1000FR is approved by Qatar Shell since year 2015. Although there are other competitor products, Qatar Shell remains to choose ULTITEC 1000FR from contractors until now, mainly use for pre-commissioning services in cleaning and catalyst handling jobs. ULTITEC 1000FR will be wear on top of the flame-resistant garments such as N brand when working, which can further prolong the usage duration. Annual usage quantity from Qatar Shell is minimum 8,000 pieces.
Besides, ULTITEC 1000FR is also being used by Qatar Gas since year 2017 in shutdown services which includes cleaning and painting jobs. Qatar Gas recognized ULTITEC 1000FR on its material breathability and stitching seam construction compared with other similar competitor protective clothing, current annual usage is around 2,000 pieces. It is being wear on top of N brand thermal protective garment too.
Regarding products approval, Qatar Shell is comparatively easier as we have all the latest test certificates, while in Qatar Gas, it is quite tough as there are hundreds of PPE suppliers in Qatar approach for the same attempt and they generally do not entertain it. Both Qatar Shell and Qatar Gas will review contract every year. Although there is existence of other main competitors such as D brand, L brand and S brand, ULTITEC 1000FR is still stand out based on its great breathability, comfortability and protection level.
