ULTITEC is a combination of two words “Ultimate” and “Protection”. It is the own brand of Derekduck Industries Corp. founded in 1992 as a professional protective clothing manufacturer. Derekduck used to provide the OEM service for European and American markets, has sophisticated industry experience and technical expertise. ULTITEC products are manufactured according to ISO 9001:2008 under Article 11B in an accredited manufacturing environment, which rigorously follows the European Norms specified in Category III of the PPE directive for chemical protective clothing.
Since ULTITEC built up in 2012, “Safety” is the commitment of the brand. Jason Lin, general manager (GM), said, “You are safe with us!”, the brand spirit covers quality assurance, professional service, and effective cost. The protective clothing expert
ULTITEC protective coveralls passed Type 3 – 6 CE certification, are applied to various fields for protection against hazards. At some major disasters, ULTITEC garments were used on rescue missions. Jason Lin mentioned “in 2013 oil spill in the Gulf of Thailand, the staffs wore ULTITEC 3000T to do beach cleanup. Later, Taiwan CDC selected ULTITEC 2000 against avian influenza in 2015, because it passes biological infection test – EN14126, exceeds WHO requirement on protective clothing during Ebola.
ULTITEC now is contributing to be a leading brand in Asia, working with distributors in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, Qatar, total 17 countries. Asian users appreciate ULTITEC’s comfort wearing experience due to special design dedicates to Asian physique and adapts to local climate while maintaining premium protection level.
Safety is not only implemented in the product also corporation culture and corporate social responsibility. In 2014, ULTITEC donated 10,000 pieces of coveralls to Taiwan CDC for doing Ebola outbreak prevention. ULTITEC also provides training to medical people on correctly donning and doffing coverall for infection control. Jason Lin, said, “We want the front-line employees go home safely everyday.
